The Ride to Arrest Cancer, Health & Wellness Fair, scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2010, will benefit the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group (LAPCSG). The LAPCSG educates and provides the law enforcement family with fellowship and support for those living with cancer, cancer survivors, family members, friends and caregivers.
Organizers of the event hope that participants will not only experience a common bond by touring the San Fernando Valley, meet with LAPD Officers who patrol their Community, share their personal stories of strength and inspiration and learn the importance of cancer prevention, early detection through screening and the need for routine physical examinations.
All donations will provide the LAPCSG with the needed resources to continue it's mission to support and educate those touched by cancer.
